Suggestions Post...

So this is a new comm. And I'd love suggestions for:
1) Edits to the profile. More tags? Other thoughts on community rules/phrasing of what's up there?
2) Organized things we could do, like for instance during Three Weeks for Dreamwidth
3) Um. Other things? IDK, dudes, I have no real idea how to run a comm.

Date: 2010-04-03 07:29 am (UTC)1) You create the tags you think are needed, let people tag their own posts with those and create more when more are needed (users can't create more tags, but they can use the existing ones)
2) You let people tag posts however they want (users can create tags). From my experience, this often ends in chaos if a community has a lot of posts.
So I'd recommend just creating a few ones, like "intro, teaching, tuition, question, rant,", I don't know and then making new ones as they are needed.
